Про будущее (экономики)

Про это много говорится сегодня — мы живем в эпоху “постиндустриальной экономики”, a.k.a.”экономика услуг”, “экономика знаний”. Ее ключевая черта состоит в том, что основной ценностью и конкурентным преимуществом являются не материальные активы, а человек и его знания.

Человеческий/интеллектуальный капитал — и есть сегодня ключевые “средства производства”, это решающий фактор как затрат, так и добавленной стоимости в современном продукте/сервисе. Сбылись мечты марксистов-коммунистов: основные средства производства сегодня принадлежат человеку труда. Интеллектуального труда. Возрадуемся же, братия.

Но что еще более важно — ИТ-технологии уже сегодня незаменимы, и будут и дальше наращивать свое влияние как основной инструмент в экономике знаний, позволяющий людям эффективно взаимодействовать, оперировать данными, контролировать процессы в реальном времени. Возрадуемся же еще больше, братия-гики.

Новая постиндустриальная эпоха изменит мир не меньше, чем в свое время письменность (только гораздо, гораздо быстрее. Гораздо). Strategic Technology Trends 2015

Some time ago I browsed through the websites of the biggest IT service providers just to see what their sales pitch is. Eventually I ended up seeking and comparing their technology future visions — how IT has turned different today and how it is going to transform the business (and the world). I was impressed how persistently all reports coin all possible combinations of — “disruptive” (about technologies) and “digital” (about everything else).

Below is my personal gist of the visions, strategic digital trends and disruptive technologies envisioned by the Big Guys. I selected just five most universal, and also dared to flavor them with my (brief) personal reflections. If you’d like to take a look at the original reports — there’s a listing at the bottom of this post (Accenture, IBM, CSC, NTT Data, Fujitsu, Gartner).

So here’s my personal Top 5 disruptive technology trends that pave the road to new digital reality for the business and humanity:

1. Business Digitalization
2. The Cloud, Internet of Things/Everying
3. Big Data and Analytics, and the Cloud again
4. Social Networks
5. 3D printing

One can dive into and discuss each of these points at length. I’d like to give just a few highlights of each and reveal that they are quite complementary. And only taken together they gain the necessary critical mass of innovation to create “digital/physical blur” (Accenture) or “merging real and virtual worlds” (Gartner), leading to “disruptive innovations” (CSC).
